Heat Treat (20,000 tons Monthly Capacity)

Partnered with Energy Services Group and Power Parts, Int. to build a state of the art hybrid induction/gas casing (4 ½ - 9 5/8) heat treat line that can achieve grades for General/Normalized, Sour (including High Collapse), High Strength and Deep Well Service material.  With the help of Ajax Tocco we engineered a tubing/casing (2 3/8 – 5 ½) heat treat line capable of running both standard and premium upset tubing and small OD casing which gives us the flexibility and capacity our customers need.

Inspection and Testing (35,000 tons Monthly Capacity)

PRI has been in business since 1995 and has built a solid reputation for providing quality inspection services to each and every one of their clients.  Republic Tube is proud to have PRI, Inc. as a partner at our facility.  

PRI, Inc. will be conducting all of Republic Tube’s inspection services, including (but not limited to):

Thread (30,000 tons of Monthly Capacity)

With Republic Tube’s new tubing facility we now offer threading services for 2 3/8 – 13 3/8 on API, Semi-Premium and Premium connections.  We are the preferred vendor for Precision Couplings BK, BK-HT, BK-FX, HOSS, Hydra & PC6 connections.  With DMG-Mori, Power Parts, Int. along with our own engineering and design team, Republic Tube has created cost effective, production driven thread lines that can turn your orders around faster than the competition.

Coupling Manufacturing

With a full time manufacturing department, Republic Tube has quickly become the preferred vendor for Precision Couplings proprietary connections based on our ability to provide a full turnkey product in house with competitive pricing, industry leading quality standards and minimal material loss.

Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)

Republic Tube is a designated Foreign Trade Zone by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  Our facilities are listed under Houstons Zone 84, Subzone 84Y.  This designation allows RT to offer storage and processing of OCTG goods in a tariff/duty free zone.  Our clients may use the zone to bring goods into the US from countries with or without quotas, process their material to a finished state and then export to another country for consumption without limitation or tariffs levied by 232.  Many clients use our processing services for material held in the FTZ so they can have finished goods immediately ready for sale once customs releases their material for U.S. consumption.  Republic Tubes FTZ designation provides many benefits and greater flexibility in an ever changing international trade market.  Call us for more information on how RT can help you maximize the value of your material today.
